Software Performance

My name is Rocky McMahan and I am originally from North Carolina. There is a long history of McMahan's in the Yadkin River Area of the Piedmont. I graduated from NC State University (NCSU)with a major in Computer Science. I also received my Master of Science from The University of Illinois (Champaign-Urban) also in Computer Science. My entire career has basically been working for AT&T and some at Lucent Technologies. When I first co-op with AT&T I worked for their Computer Division (yes, AT&T once made computers). This is where I received my first taste of UNIX and that's how I got into performance analysis. I currently work at IBM's Tivoli Software Group. I enjoy the work and I'm learning so much as well. What else do you need from a job? I live in downtown Raleigh part of the beautiful Research Triangle Park area. It's a great place to live and work.
